Health & Safety Policy

Citrus takes all reasonable and practical steps within its powers to meet its responsibilities by providing:

  • Sufficient information, instruction, training and supervision to enable all team members to avoid hazards and to contribute to the health and safety of themselves and others;
  • Places of work, including plant, equipment, conditions of work and arrangements that are safe and without risk to health;
  • Facilities and procedures for dealing effectively with emergency situations including fires, accidents and injuries which may occur at the work place or during site visits;
  • Risk assessments to identify and assess hazards which may occur within or outside the work place including the development of health & safety plans for all international work;
  • Health risk assessment and preventative medicine including routine eye tests, health care provision and, importantly for our industry, spinal and back care; and
  • Audit and review procedures to confirm and ensure the health and safety policy operates in practice.

Environmental Policy

Citrus firmly believes in its responsibilities to the environment; the protection of which is a fundamental part of our business.

Key objectives of the Citrus environmental policy are to:

  • Conduct our business in an environmentally-responsible manner;
  • Working towards eliminating the use of substances or materials that may cause material impacts to the environment;
  • Reduce waste generated by our operations; and
  • Minimise environmental risks by employing safe technologies and operating procedures.
